In just one day, you can explore the highest volcano in Costa Rica and unwind at the Hacienda Orosi hot springs, just an hour away from San Jose. The journey begins on the Panamericana Sur highway toward Irazu Volcano, passing through rolling hills with views of fertile lands cultivated with vegetables. At the summit, we admire the main craters, and on clear days, both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea can be seen. On the way back to Cartago, we visit Hacienda Orosi­, a peaceful retreat featuring hyper-mineralized hot springs exceeding 65°C, renowned for their relaxing and healing properties.
